We start with a trial taking around 2 hours, 6 to 8 weeks before your wedding day, where we will do a thorough consultation to find out about your day, get as many details as possible, but also to find out about you and understand your vision for your big day. Most importantly we want you to be comfortable in your own skin. It’s also a nice idea to bring someone else along with you for your trial, like your bridesmaids and mothers whether they require a trial or not, they can provide another point of view when trying to achieve the right look. You could even all have your trial done on the day of a special night out (hen do) to road test your makeup.
We believe that every bride is different, we all have our own ideas of how we want to look, what we like and dislike and even what part of our features we like and dislike. With this in mind, it is important for us to ensure you are one hundred percent confident in our ability, but also that your makeup still leaves you feeling and looking like you, whatever you have in mind, be it natural beauty, classic, glamorous, vintage or flawless.
Here at Rituals Retreat in Ashby-da-la-Zouch, we have over 20 years experience in the beauty and makeup industry, and bridal makeup is one of the most exciting and rewarding treatments for us. Your big day is probably going to be one of the most important days of your life, and every girl has that beautiful dream of how they are going to look and feel on that day!
Bridal Make Up in Ashby-de-la-Zouch – including trial, will take around two hours for the trial and an hour on the day £90
The Make-Up trial will take place at our Salon at Staunton Harold, we will then come out to you on the day.
BRIDESMAIDS OR MOTHERS – including trial, will take an hour for the trial and an hour on the day £70
BRIDESMAIDS OR MOTHERS – on the day only £40 - if no trial is required.
We will then be able to come to your chosen venue on the day, within a distance of 15 miles each way, to rituals retreat. On the actual day, we will advise you on what time is going to be the most suitable for us to arrive, usually the bridal makeup is usually the last think done just before your dress is put on to ensure your flawless glow lasts as long as possible. We will also be there on hand to help with dressing your party, wiping tears, putting on jewellery and shoes. Donna has also had much practice lacing up dresses, and has even been known to brush teeth, powder thighs, put on garters after they were forgotten, oh yes we’ve seen it all!! But it’s all good fun and what makes, what can potentially be a stressful day for most brides, to be more relaxed, friendly and with lots of laughter!
